To support beatPlus’ and shecco’s activities in the area of event planning and in the organisation of industry, business and policy meetings, as well as to support our Events team in customer relations and sales, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced Events & Marketing Coordinator based in Berlin, Germany. (Please only native-level English speakers)

beatPlus GmbH is part of the shecco Group, an integrated market development specialist supporting the introduction of climate friendly technologies, with a special focus on Natural Refrigerants. Our philosophy is to bring these technologies faster to the market in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible, thereby “sustaining our atmosphere”.

To support beatPlus’ activities in the area of event planning and in the organisation of industry, business and policy meetings, as well as to support our Events team in customer relations and sales, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and native-level English speaking Events & Marketing Coordinator.


The Events & Marketing Coordinator will support the beatPlus/shecco Events team, ensuring the delivery of high quality events and strengthening our customer relations. This will include all aspects of organising an event including planning, practical and logistical preparation, website management, online marketing as well as on-site execution and post-event tasks. She/he will be involved in the management of all beatPlus and shecco events ranging from high profile conferences to smaller meetings in Berlin, other European locations, Asia and North & South America. The purpose of these events is to bring together leading policy and industry experts from all around the globe to discuss and influence the future of climate friendly technologies. Beside Events Management, she/he will be involved in contacting existing and potential industry customers and writing news articles for beatPlus blogs and shecco’s online B2B platforms.

➢ Planning and execution of ATMOsphere Europe, ATMOsphere America and ATMOsphere Asia events, as well as smaller ATMOsphere Network Meetings around the world (logistical support before, during, and after an event):
• Preparation of budgets & time schedules, preparing project and marketing plans
• Communication and coordination with participants, speakers, sponsors and media partners
• Assisting with all questions related to registration, visa letters, sponsor exhibitions, presentations, travel arrangements, etc.
• Provision of on-site support: from setting up sponsor exhibitions and running registration to collecting evaluation forms and assisting sponsors in booth tear-down
• Post-event tasks: gathering and analysing participant feedback, lessons learned, drafting content-related reports, sponsor and speaker follow-up
➢ Planning and execution of events for lobbying campaigns, trade shows, industry meetings etc. at our offices in Berlin, Brussels, Tokyo and the U.S.
➢ Drafting of articles about ATMOsphere events (, industry events and sponsor companies’ products and services, email campaigns, press releases and other marketing materials
➢ Updating and proofreading events website, e.g. speaker bios, online programme, presentations, etc.
➢ Updating ATMOsphere profile on social media (Twitter, LinkedIn) and adding new channels
➢ Updating and proofreading Industry platforms (,,, with articles about industry events, partner company products and market developments
➢ Organising beatPlus’ and shecco’s presence at industry trade shows and conferences

The position is a mixture of organisational, communication, creative and administrative tasks, requiring a personality with a flexible, positive and international mind set.


Very important: Native level of English
Good written/spoken German and additional languages a plus
Very strong interest in environmental and social issues
Very strong interest in planning and organising events
Sociable, ‘people person’
Very good time management and keen eye for detail
Quick learner, proactive approach, and hands-on
Team player but also able to work autonomously
Must be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Excellent multi-tasking capabilities
Should be able to travel when needed
Flexible schedule, must be able to work overtime when needed (in particular during event time)


University degree (Business/Economics, Marketing, Communications, European Studies, Environmental Studies, or similar)
Prior experience in the organising conferences, workshops, seminars, or similar
Marketing/communications experience
Sales experience a plus
Valid working permit for Germany (Europe)


Limited contract, duration 12 months
This 1-year contract is intended to lead to a permanent employment, based on performance
