We’ve envisioned a space that functions as a combination of a Vienna-style coffee house, a library, a home office, or a university campus. We combine the best aspects of these locations, and use them to slowly build the idea of betahaus.

Since January 2009, we have been operating in a formerly state-owned space on Prinzessinnenstraße, close to Moritzplatz in the heart of Kreuzberg.

Our team consists of highly-talented people from different disciplines, such as design, architecture, and more. At betahaus, we seek to implement our own ideas from work and life, as well as to invite other designers to exhibit, test, and further develop their ideas and prototypes in our space. Who knows what may emerge from this flow of ideas…

At betahaus, we offer areas for quiet, concentrated work, as well as plenty of communicative space where you can make a phone call, or simply think aloud.

Apart from 4 separate meeting rooms, an large eventspace and our café on the ground floor for relaxed entertainment, we have a coworking space of approximately 1500 square metres. Of course, we provide access to printers, scanners, VOIP services, and free wi-fi – all of that should be a given!

We are looking for a tenant who takes over our sublease contract for 2 rooms (1 is also possible) in a shared office space in Berlin Mitte. The office is located close to Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt (U-Bahn stop Weinmeisterstraße) – a perfect location for lunch options and easily accessible with public transportation. The Space

With the Eckwerk we want to create a room where creative people with innovative ideas can search for answers for the many social, environmental and economical questions together. For this we focus on the exchange and cooperation in a creative and productive milieu. However, we do not want to wait until the Eckwerk is built to start! This is why we altered two of our S-Bahn arcs to funtion as a coworking and event space to be able to test the idea of the Eckwerk in advance. Our aim is to design a space where one can work, connect and linger and get inspired by the suroundings, the river view and the various activities near the Holzmarkt.

Our studio is on the 5th floor of a charming old brickhouse situated in an industrial area in Berlin Tempelhof, between the Tempelhofer field and the Teltow Kanal.

We have a lot of different material suppliers and hardware stores in the neighborhood and a fast connection to the freeway (Berliner Ring).
The bus M46 stops directly in front of the building.
There are some grocery stores around where you can get your food, take it to our full equipped kitchen and prepare a delicious meal.
Or you take a short walk to the Tempelhofer Hafen to have your lunch break.

Our small in-house workshop enables quick prototyping and encourages a collaborative working atmosphere.
On the other half on our floor is a bigger wood workshop, a Longboard Production, a Product Designer, 2 Carpenter and a small film company.
The material elevator is directly going into the studio and the attic with possible storage space (10-15 sq.)

We are looking for people to share and to co-create the space and to become part of our creative network.
